The old PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH was at Burnham Road and W. Hanover - ' MOVED to Rosedale and Speedwell Ave.The finely detailed print measures 8.75 inches by 6.75 inches. It has a mat with 2 inch border
and has a foam core backing to measure overall 10.75 inches by 10.25 inches.This information was described by G. R. Goodman Bookseller, 232 S. Main Street, Stillwater. MN 55052 ( eBay Item 7359927229 October 2005 ).
This, the Morris Plains Presbyterian Church was at West Hanover Ave. at Burnham Road. But in 1912, it was moved 1/2 mile for two weeks using "horse power and man power" to the new location at Rosedale Avenue near Speedwell Avenue in Morris Plains.The services resumed at the new site on Rosedale Avenue on April 27, 1913.
A MODEL of the old church being moved from the Burnham Road / West Hanover location was donated by Mr. Fred Miller.It is now on display at the Morris Plains Museum, a wonderful small town museum !

(built on the foundation of an earlier stone school house at Irondale on West
Hanover Avenue)
was the site for religious services let to the Morris Plains Presbyterian
